WHAT TO EXPECT
It's your first show with Outcry Youth Theatre. Don't stress! Here's what you need to know to have a great experience.
CONFLICTS
Attendance is expected at all rehearsals to which a student is called. Conflicts with all rehearsals, tech week, and performances must be provided by callbacks or absences will not be accepted. You will receive a conflict sheet at or before your audition. This form is mandatory for you to be considered for casting. The amount of conflicts will be considered and accepted at the discretion of the director.
TUITION
A 50% tuition deposit is required by the first rehearsal once a production has been cast and your role has been accepted. Remaining tuition is due the fourth week rehearsal.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are considered on a rolling basis when funding is available. Scholarship funds are limited and depending on the source of the funds, may be available only for residents of certain cities or counties, casting demands of a script, or selected classes.
All scholarship applications for productions must be received before the second week of rehearsals to be considered.

KATIE GUIOU COSTUME SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship honors the memory of the incredible volunteer Katie Guiou, paying all costume expenses for a limited number of students. Scholarships are limited by available funds. All scholarship applications for productions must be received before the second week of rehearsals to be considered.
TICKETS
Tickets will be available online (with a small service charge) and at the door (credit card sales at the door will incur a small service charge).
OFF BOOK
Cast must be completely off book (lines, blocking, songs, and choreography memorized) by the off book dates listed on the rehearsal calendar, which will be provided at the first rehearsal.
COSTUMES
Costumes are not provided. They are the responsibility of the cast member. A volunteer in charge of costumes will communicate with you the director's vision of what your costume should look like, and costume pieces can be purchased, rented, borrowed, or created from scratch.
VOLUNTEERING
Parent volunteers are absolutely essential to the success of each production! There are a wide range of volunteer opportunities for parents, both big and small. We require a small commitment from our parents, but hope you will consider volunteering more! When we all work together to create an amazing show it is a truly magical experience!
