THE WËRSPIRIT follows Earnest, a young college student exploring their gender along with their grief for their recently deceased mother. Interrupted by various forms of supernatural (and natural) phenomena including; two crows (Veronica and Phineas) who long to kill the other before the other kills them. A werewolf god, the ghost of her dead mother, and her ex-girlfriend Kate (oh also Kate is turning into a werewolf). Irreverent, spooky, and full of heart, THE WËRSPIRIT is a queer romp that all will enjoy.

This was a developmental reading for the local playwright, Trent Sutton, who was in attendance. There was a talkback following the reading, moderated by director Benjamin McElroy, where the audience members and actors discussed the play with the playwright.
