JASON JOHNSON-SPINOS

MARKETING DIRECTOR, TEACHER, DIRECTOR, DESIGNER
A theatre and film artist and educator, Jason wears many hats at Outcry Theatre. He is the Marketing Director, a teacher, director, actor, playwright, and designer. Jason is a graduate of Elon University, with degrees in Theatre Studies and Cinema Communications. He has edited numerous documentary films, including Tattoo Uprising and Myth of a Colorblind France. He has designed Off-Broadway for Texas in Paris (sound/projections) and Lonesome Blues (sound). He was a theatre teacher at Universal Academy - Coppell, where his UIL One Act Play of The Chastening advanced to the 2017 State Championship. Jason has acted professionally with WaterTower Theatre, Shakespeare Dallas, Burning Coal Theatre, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, and Outcry Theatre. He has worked with Undermain Theatre and Circle Theatre (sound design), Kitchen Dog Theater (One-Minute Play Festival playwright), and Rover Dramawerks (ODO director).
