ON-CAMERA ACTING
July 20-24, 9am-12pm | Ages 12-18 | $125
Taught by Dylan Weand
A deep exploration into an actor’s artistry and practice. Learn to work authentically in front of a camera; exploring deep preparation, the practice of presence, connecting with a scene partner, and expanding your own unique voice. Each student will be given challenging material that will be workshopped over the course of the class. The work will be recorded and sent to you for your own private review. Ends with a presentation for family members at the Outcry Theatre Rehearsal Location.

For over a decade, Dylan Weand has worked consistently as an actor and a creative artist. He is an alumnus of Outcry Theatre and now works professionally as a film and commercial actor under the Kim Dawson Agency. Dylan has starred in numerous indie films, attaining accolades such as Best Lead Actor at London’s Infinity Film Festival. He recently starred in the feature film Marrow, which promotes donor awareness for the national stem cell registry and is backed by Earl Young's Team. Dylan has had the fortune to train under some incredible industry professionals, such as Risa-Bramon Garcia, David DeSantos, Sydney Walsh, Amber Horn, Danielle Aufiero, Lauren Lazell, Vincent Martella, Deb Dion, Nancy Chartier, and many more. He is delighted to share his accumulated knowledge and love of acting with his students.
