ADVANCED FILMMAKING

Taught by Jason Johnson-Spinos
In this selective film camp, students will learn advanced film production and editing techniques. Students will take on different film positions to create their own original short film. Must have taken a prior filmmaking camp or have filmmaking experience.
The short film will be presented to family at the end of the week, and then will be available online on YouTube.

Get behind the camera, or in front of it! Learn filmmaking and film acting, from pre-production to post-production. Students collaborate to write, shoot, and edit an original short film.
The short film will be presented to family at the end of the week, and then will be available online on YouTube.

In addition to being Marketing Director and a teacher and director at Outcry Theatre, Jason has been working in the film and tv industry since 2007. He currently edits documentary films for the company Documentary Arts, including the films Looking for Home, Myth of a Colorblind France, Tattoo Uprising, Serving Second Chances, and You Don't Need Feet to Dance.
