RACHEL WASSONMUSIC DIRECTOR
Rachel Wasson is a multi-faceted musician, educator, performer, and composer. Raised in a musical family in McKinney, Texas, Rachel was regularly involved in choir, band, dance, and musical theatre throughout her childhood. She is an alumna of East Texas A&M University where she pursued instrumental and vocal music and participated in the French Horn studio. During her undergraduate studies, she actively served in leadership roles in the Pride Marching Band, choral and wind ensembles, and the Epsilon Beta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, a band service sorority. Rachel currently teaches private voice in Melissa ISD and private french horn in Celina ISD. She participates in professional and community ensembles in the DFW metroplex, including the Texas Voices and Sostenuto, a choral community of north Texas. In addition to teaching and performing, Rachel enjoys painting.
