In the style of productions like Sleep No More, Outcry Theatre presents a new immersive theatrical experience, A Memorial Service for Lily Evergreen. You are invited to attend the celebration of life for a young woman who died under very mysterious circumstances. At the service, you will meet the honored guests: Lily's family, friends, lovers, and more, all of whom have their own complicated relationships with Lily. The honored guests will wander both inside and outside the Stone Cottage, where the memorial is being held, and if you follow them around, you may discover more about their connection to Lily. The more you learn, the more you will wonder if the killer is in attendance. At the same time, these events are highly spiritual, and there’s always a chance that the dead will be watching.

Reviews
“A Memorial Service For Lily Evergreen Is Unlike Any Play We've Ever Seen
Presented by Outcry Theatre, this hyper-creative immersive play brought us to tears and laughter.”
-Simon Pruitt, Dallas Observer
“Outcry’s high-concept immersive play captivates despite its unusual format.” “Rashae Boyd had a lovely presence as Lily’s fiancee Parker. She gave a distinguished performance without relying on any grief-stricken cliches. Benjamin McElroy and Jessica Lomas were on the more colorful side with explosive performances and messy drama. A particular scene between Dahlia Parks and Trev Turnbow was low-key fabulous as they dragged each other’s art.”
“Becca Johnson-Spinos’ choreography was innovative and added an extra layer to the perpetual dialogue. Tyler Hester’s lighting was effective both in and out.”
-Rich Lopez, Dallas Voice
“The multi-racial cast worked beautifully as an ensemble within this emotional piece of storytelling—one that also included choreographed movement by Becca Johnson-Spinos. I’m looking forward to what Outcry Theatre comes up with next.”
-Teresa Marrero, OnstageNTX
